Seventeen extraordinary young women, each wearing a crown representing their respective communities, will vie for the title of Miss Antelope Valley 2012. The 68th Annual Pageant will be held at the Poppy Pavilion at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 4pm.
Queens competing for the top title of Miss Antelope Valley are often seen participating in fundraisers for organizations like Kids Charities. Additionally, the community queens regularly work various Chamber events, luncheons and special functions, lending their talent and generating community goodwill.
Current Miss Antelope Valley, Ivy Bedard, will pass the crown to the new Queen, who will reign over the 2012 Antelope Valley Fair (August 17 – 26, 2012). The pageant is a highly anticipated event, culminating in the coronation of a single Queen to represent the entire Antelope Valley.
Judges come from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses “Judges Committee”.
