Mission Statement
A non-profit fund raising organization, the Friends of the Antelope Valley Fair, Inc. is committed to supporting the Antelope Valley Fair Association (a 501 (c) (4) organization) mission, providing scholarship programs for deserving local youth, promoting education for the Antelope Valley community and contributing to the Antelope Valley Fair Association capital improvements.

In 2012, the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds went through a governance change meaning that the oversight of the Fair changed from the State of California to a Joint Powers Authority.
The JPA Board of Directors are:
Chairman, Johnny Zamrzla, Vice-Chair, Marvin Crist, Rob Parris, Cecil Swetland, and Matthew Jimmink.
